I have spent hours on the audio. I am going to have to call on some experts. Now I am moving on to the the old home movies. I am taking them to Motophoto. Who knows. Maybe I will be able to post on this sight. They said it would take about a week so I might have an update next week.

Difficultly With Audio
About 2 weeks ago I posted that I hopped to have audio tapes of Kurt Broecker ( My Father ) talking about the family. I still hope to do that but it looks like I have to find someone to help. The audio isn’t in the greatest condition. It is on an audio tape, but when transferring the quality is pretty bad. I guess I will have to see what I can do for it, in the mean time keep waiting. Hope to add it soon.
Kurt Broecker Update
So some of the family follows this post as to what is going on. Kurt Broecker had surgery today. He had a “Broken Back”. They had to put something in his spine to keep the Vertebra from rubbing causing lots of pain. The good news is that he is out and doing well. Even better is that he is suppose to come home today.
Fun with Family History
The other day I stopped by my mother’s house. She wanted me to take some VCR tapes to MotoPhoto and have them transferred to DVD. The originals were 8MM but we are going to try the VHS tapes first. Anyway, back to the purpose of this post. While cleaning off the shelf we found Audio Cassette Tapes. They were from a number of years ago were we recorded Kurt Broecker talking about family history. We will be converting them to Digital Media and hopefully I can add them here. They might be worth a listen. I will post again as soon as I can.

A Robber in Wisconsin!
Robber In Wisconsin Bank
A hooded robber burst into a Wisconsin bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash.
On his way out the door, a brave Wisconsin customer grabbed the hood and pulled it off, revealing the robbers face. The robber shot the customer without a moments hesitation.
He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also. Everyone in the bank, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in silence.
The robber yelled, “Well, did anyone else see my face?”
There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly to afraid to speak
Then, one old Norwiegen named Ole from Wisconsin tentatively raised his hand and said, “My wife got a pretty good look at you.”

Cute & Funny
The sharing of marriage…
The old man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.
He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife.
He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.
He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them . As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.
Obviously they were thinking, ‘That poor old couple – all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.’
As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine – they were used to sharing everything
People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn’t eaten a bite.
She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.
Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them.
This time the old woman said ‘No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.’
Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked ‘What is it you are waiting for?’
She answered —
‘THE TEETH.’
